The Sale of a pair of the new limited edition Sand Martin Bronzes by JOEL has raised funds for an English nature conservation charity.
This beautiful and inspiring sculpture by JOEL was exhibited at the Bedford Street Gallery Woburn, and with other sculptures helped raise funds for the Greensand Trust, thanks also to the Peter Smith Trust for Nature Conservation.
"I was delighted that these Bronze of such a delightful bird continues to help in securing of the future of English Wildlife....they are such darling birds and one of the signs of Summer, that should be treasured" said JOEL

Extra event in the Market
The Sculptress JOEL was at a special event in the Melton Mowbray Cattle Market to promote the work of the search and rescue Dogs.
People of all ages, including a group of children from Germany enjoyed meeting the collies and finding out about the Collies and the new Collie portrait head sculpture
JOEL was also delighted to present a Collie dog sculpture as a token of appreciation, accepted by Chris Pritchard of Leicestershire Fire Service search and rescue.

Little Owl Bronze first images
The first images of the Little Owl Bronze are made and show the details of those white eyebrows and feathers....as well as a hint of the details including the creatures hiding on the post amongst the Ivy behind the Little Owl
You can just make out the gleam of red of the Ladybird - this special insect is only to be found on number one of the edition.

Sand Martin at the Bird Fair
Visitors to the A Rocha stand at the 2010 Bird Fair could see JOEL at work on the making of Sand Martins, and ask questions about the casting process and conservation projects run by A Rocha.
